Understanding the suffering is beyond me,
Understanding the healing is, too.
But in this moment, I am here,
Use me.

Like all humans, I have experienced many changes in my nearly 50 years of living. Some
in the form of endings, others as new beginnings. My first career was in
communications. I have worked for a range of companies large and small including
international development and have been fortunate to travel. I am a proud mom to three
teenage sons including two with special needs.

I returned to school in 2005, earning my masters degree in counseling from the
American School of Professional Psychology in Seattle. My undergraduate degree is in
Organizational and Mass Communications from Eastern Washington University. I am
Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a member of the American Counseling
Association which has ethical codes by which I abide.  I consult regularly with a group of
local counselors and psychologists who offer many years of insight and experience.

In my office, clients find a safe and compassionate atmosphere in which to explore
difficult questions. Growth happens on multiple levels: practical, interpersonal, and
existential. I believe that laughter is extremely therapeutic and often makes the journey
easier.
